Abstract
Background
Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) frequently have coexisting hypertension and are at increased risk of cardiovascular (CV) and renal complications. Monotherapy-centric or stepwise treatment approaches may leave substantial residual cardio-renal-metabolic (CRM) risk, underscoring the need for integrated therapeutic strategies.
