Abstract
Abstract Background: Nodular scabies is conventionally regarded as a post-scabietic hypersensitivity reaction rather than active infestation. Consequently, management often relies on treatment history. Polarised and ultraviolet-induced fluorescence (UVF) dermoscopy may provide objective evidence of persistent mites and guide therapy.
