Abstract
Purpose
To report the neodymium:yttrium-aluminum-garnet (Nd:YAG) laser capsulotomy rates following implantation of three models of the FineVision (BVI Inc. Waltham, USA) diffractive trifocal intraocular lens (IOL).
Methods
This was a multicentre, retrospective study including eyes implanted with the FineVision Micro F, FineVision POD/POD FT and the FineVision HP (POD F GF) IOL models after uncomplicated cataract or refractive lens exchange surgeries. The rate of Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy (cumulative incidence) during 1, 3, 5 and 10 years of follow-up were recorded.
