Abstract
Background and purpose: Given the high mortality associated with COVID-19 infection, this study aimed to investigate the clinical outcomes of COVID-19 infection in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS).
Materials and methods
Patients who provided a response during the initial history-taking process between February 2020 and February 2021 were included in the study. All adult patients with MS aged 18 years or older were identified using census sampling. Demographic characteristics, underlying medical conditions, medications, and clinical manifestations were recorded. Information on patients hospitalised at the medical centre was obtained from electronic medical records. A p-value of less than 0.05 was considered statistically significant.
