Comparative Study of Healing of Extraction [ Hard and Soft Tissues] in Non-diabetic and Diabetic Patients: A Prospective Study

Aims & Objective : The main purpose of this study is to compare healing of hard and soft tissues in a diabetic and non diabetic patients.

Methods

Total 200 Patients who require extraction are selected in 2 groups. Group -A : Diabetic Patient Group -B : Non diabetic Patient We measure the parameters such as extraction socket size , post operative pain, swelling, infection, dry socket.

Results

Statistical differences were noted between 2 groups in terms of post operative pain and swelling and infection. But no other changes like socket size and dry socket.
