The solid-tumor-to-leukemia DALY ratio in Chinese children, 1990–2023: a nine-location benchmarking analysis of Global Burden of Disease Study 2023 estimates

Secondary analysis of Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Study 2023 estimates of pediatric solid-tumor versus leukemia burden in China, 1990–2023. We computed a solid-tumor-to-leukemia disability-adjusted life year (DALY) ratio among children aged 0–14 years and benchmarked China against the global estimate, the two Socio-demographic Index quintiles, and five comparators (United States, England, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and India). This project archives the study protocol, analysis code, derived results data, figures, and the manuscript to support full reproducibility. The analyses reported here were complete at the time this project and its registration were filed; this archive documents the study design, code, and results as implemented and is not a prospective pre-registration.
