Résumé
Background
Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) are a leading cause of amputation. In Bundelkhand, central India, poverty, barefoot field work, poor follow-up and device costs limit conventional offloading; surgically correcting the cause of focal plantar pressure may suit this population.
Aim
To study plantar pressure and ulcer distribution in DFU and assess the outcomes and feasibility of surgical offloading.
