Résumé
Endometrial cancer is the most frequent gynaecological malignancy in developed countries, and its incidence is rising with obesity and ageing. The study therefore aimed to analyse the effects of endometrial cancer on reproductive health and on the physical, psychological and social well-being of patients. A literature review of publications from 2018 to 2025 was conducted, with a sample of 15 articles. Five-year survival reaches 95% in localised disease and falls to 16-18% in metastatic disease; hysterectomy with adnexectomy improves survival but causes infertility and surgical menopause; and patients present anxiety, fear of recurrence and sexual dysfunction. It was concluded that management should integrate fertility preservation in selected cases and psychological support.
