Résumé
Gianotti-Crosti syndrome is a papular acrodermatitis of childhood associated with viral infections and vaccines, whose atypical variant, with diffuse or unusually located lesions, makes diagnosis difficult. The study therefore aimed to analyse the clinical features, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of atypical Gianotti-Crosti syndrome. A literature review guided by PRISMA was conducted in PubMed, Scopus and Google Scholar, with a sample of 20 articles published between 2014 and 2025. The rash was less symmetrical and more extensive than in the classic form, was frequently accompanied by fever and was associated with Epstein-Barr virus, cytomegalovirus and vaccination, while treatment was symptomatic and resolution occurred within weeks. It was concluded that the atypical variant retains a favourable prognosis but requires careful differential diagnosis.
