Résumé
Healthcare-associated neonatal sepsis is one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality among newborns hospitalised in neonatal intensive care units. The study therefore aimed to analyse nursing interventions for the prevention of healthcare-associated neonatal sepsis. A literature review guided by PRISMA was conducted in SciELO, PubMed, Redalyc and Google Scholar, with a sample of 20 studies published between 2020 and 2025 in Spanish and English. Hand hygiene, aseptic technique, central line care bundles, environmental control, kangaroo mother care and continuous staff training were the interventions with the greatest impact. It was concluded that adherence to evidence-based protocols reduces infections and neonatal mortality.
