Résumé
Background
Pediatric radial shaft fractures often require surgical fixation when displaced or unstable. Although elastic intramedullary nailing is widely used, the ideal nail entry point remains controversial. This study aimed to compare dorsal and radial entry techniques regarding operative outcomes, radiological results, functional recovery, and complications. Patients and Methods: This randomized clinical trial included 34 children aged 7–12 yearswith diaphyseal radial fractures. Patients were equally assigned to dorsal or radial entry groups and treated with closed reduction and intramedullary fixation. Outcomes were evaluated at 3 weeks, 6 weeks, and 3 months for operative parameters, fracture healing, functional recovery, and complications.
