Summary: Background: Radiotherapy (RT) is a curative treatment modality for inoperable oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). However, for patients with ESCC receiving first-line chemoimmunotherapy (CIT), the appropriate sequence of RT relative to CIT remains unclear.
